Ghost Crochet Free Pattern Amigurumi

Hello!! Here’s a new simple but really cute pattern of this beautiful little ghost, and I mixing Bernat Blanket with a yarn that glows in the dark and I really loved the result!

It is approximately 8 centimeters high and we do it in rounds. It is a simple pattern, with small pieces, perfect for those who are just starting out with crochet!

So, let's start this beautiful purple elephant!

Materials

  • White Bernat Blanket yarn

  • Glow in the dark yarn. I ordered the one I used on AliExpress a while ago, but I found this option on Amazon. It is thicker than the one I used but it still works well to combine it with the Bernat. You can also use it alone with a finer crochet hook and you will get a small ghost like a keychain!

  • 8 mm crochet hook Here is the link for the complete set of crochet hooks if you are interested! I have tried several and these are the ones that I feel most comfortable to use.

  • 16 mm Black Safety Eyes

  • Poly Fil fyber fill

  • Yarn needle

  • Scissors

I will use the following abbreviations in this pattern:

Sc Single crochet

Inc Increase: making 2 sc or dc in one stitch

Dec Decrease: create one sc or dc from two

When you see something between asterisks **, followed by an “x #” this means you should repeat what is between the asterisks the number of times mentioned.  For example, *1 sc, 1 inc* x 6 means that you must make 1 single crochet in one stitch and one increase in the following stitch and repeat this 6 times.

At the end of each row you will see a number between parenthesis, this number represents the number of stitches with which you should finish each row.

For example, if you see (12) this means that when you finish making what the instruction states on that row you should count 12 stitches.

So, let’s start crocheting!
