YODA with Heart Free Amigurumi Crochet Pattern
We're kicking off February with a new and very romantic version of this little green guy, and he turned out super cute! A perfect new option for your geeky loved ones. This week I dared to open a TikTok account for Juliefruuu and—though I still don't really get it—I made a little video with this cutie! If you're on that platform, please follow me and show some love to my videos! 💚
For this project, I used lightweight cotton yarn so it turns out pocket-sized—perfect for a keychain! It would even look cute with a little sign that says “YODA one for me!” Or in Spanish maybe: “YO DAría la vida por ti” — or is that too dramatic?? Haha. Maybe something like: “YO DArte mi amor!” Hehe I don’t know! If you have any other fun ideas, leave them in the comments!
Materials
Lightweight mercerized cotton yarn in brown, jute, green, and red
3.00 mm crochet hook
9 mm black safety eyes
Yarn needle
Hot glue
Scissors
Blush powder to color the ears and cheeks
Instructions
In the pattern, I use the following abbreviations:
sc – single crochet (punto bajo)
sl st – slip stitch (punto enano)
hdc – half double crochet (medio punto alto)
inc – increase: make two stitches in the same stitch (aumento)
dec – decrease: join two stitches into one (disminución)
At the end of each row or round, you'll see a number in parentheses. This number tells you how many stitches you should have at the end of that row or round. For example, if you see (12), it means you should count 12 stitches once you've completed the instructions.
Let’s start crocheting!

First, sew the ears onto the head.

Attach the sleeves, then place the hands inside with a drop of hot glue.
Glue the collar in place, then the heart, and finally glue the hands over the heart.
